When we arrived at Stinson Beach, Saturday morning, our first stop was out to the beach to take in the breathtaking scenery. It was the perfect day, after much rain the previous week, and we were looking forward to enjoying our good fortune.
Ed was dressed for running, and was a bit cool in the brisk weather, but excited to tackle the run.
I was not running, so I got to enjoy being a spectator, watching Ed and the other runners start off.
Ed is the yellow runner, below, looking fast :).
For the next few hours, I got to enjoy a few cups of tea in a nice cafe, near a warm fireplace. It was so relaxing, and felt great to get good work done before our "vacation" really started. After getting some work down, I decided to change locations, and headed back down to the ocean to do some more work with the lovely view. It was so heavenly that I didn't even realize it was time for Ed to finish until he showed up behind me!
He had a great race, running hard and getting 6th place overall :)
Next up, we head up to Point Reyes (a first for us both!)
